Entry requirements

The entry requirements for MSc Applied Mathematics are as follows:

The applicant must hold a Bachelor degree in Science or Engineering or equivalence. The degree must which include at least fifteen credits of mathematics courses from a college or university accredited by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation before the start of the first semester of the academic program.

The applicant must have a cumulative GPA not less than 2.50.

The applicant must have an English Proficiency Examination score according to the requirement of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

The applicant who does not meet the GPA and English Language Proficiency criteria could be eligible to apply for admission under the discretion of the Program Administrative Committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

How to apply

Applicants must sit  a written examination. Potential applicants are subsequently shortlisted for an interview. More details about the selection procedure and the application form can be found on the Faculty of Graduate Studies online application website.
