ประชาสัมพันธ์การแข่งขันคณิตคิดเร็ว MU Mental Math Competition 2024 ขอเรียนเชิญทุกท่านที่สนใจ สมัครเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันได้ที่ https://forms.gle/MieampiBtzW8VSck8 มีกำหนดการแข่งขัน ในวันที่ 17 สิงหาคม 2567 ที่มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล วิทยาเขตพญาไท รับสมัครผู้เข้าแข่งขันจากทั่วประเทศ โดยจะมีการแข่งขันคิดเลขเร็ว 2 ระดับ ได้แก่ • คิดเลขเร็ว ระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น จำนวนไม่เกิน 400 คน • คิดเลขเร็ว ระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย จำนวนไม่เกิน 400 คน ผู้เข้าแข่งขันทุกคนจะได้รับเกียรติบัตรการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม การแข่งขันจัดขึ้นโดย คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ ภาควิชาคณิตศาสตร์ สาขาวิชาคณิตศาสตร์อุตสาหการและวิทยาการข้อมูล มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล วิทยาเขตพญาไท หากมีข้อสงสัยเพิ่มเติม สามารถติดต่อผู้ประสานงานได้ที่ • นายอภิวัฒน์ คงสวัสดิ์ 063-639-1610 (นักศึกษาผู้ดำเนินโครงการ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล) • นายธรรมธร น้อยสง่า 063-250-5590 (นักศึกษาจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย)

ภาควิชาคณิตศาสตร์ ขอแสดงความยินดีกับดร.มัณฑนา ชุดทอง ที่ได้รับการคัดเลือกให้รับรางวัลบทความวิจัยยอดเยี่ยม (Outstanding Paper) ภายใต้ชื่อรางวัล “Peter Clark Prize” จาก Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) สหราชอาณาจักร สำหรับรางวัล Peter Clark Prize จะมอบให้แก่บทความวิจัยยอดเยี่ยมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับคณิตศาสตร์ประกันภัย (Actuarial Science) ที่นำเสนอหรือเผยแพร่และได้รับการยอมรับในกลุ่มนักคณิตศาสตร์ประกันภัย (Actuaries) โดยบทความดังกล่าวต้องเป็นบทความที่ถูกตีพิมพ์ในวารสารที่ได้รับการรับรองจากสถาบันนักคณิตศาสตร์ประกันภัย ณ สหราชอาณาจักร (Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, IFoA) และเป็นผลงานยอดเยี่ยมที่ถูกเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงและได้รับเลือกจาก IFoAโดยชื่อของรางวัลดังกล่าว ถูกตั้งขึ้นเพื่อรำลึกถึง Past President “Peter Clark” ของสถาบันนักคณิตศาสตร์ประกันภัย IFoA ผู้เสียชีวิตอย่างกะทันหันขณะดำรงตำแหน่ง
